Answered Prayer in Kabuyu

November 18th, 2017 Posted by News No Comment yet

We recently asked you to pray for Bernard and Gervas. They were being given a very frosty and suspicious welcome from the village leadership in Kabuyu village. Bernard described it as making them feel like Paul and Silas in Philippi. They spent a few hours answering many questions but eventually the headman and his elders decided to let them speak to the community as planned.

As they were leaving the headmen said, “This program has come to help me because me, as a headman, I look after all the characters of people in the villages. You people are teaching that everyone is allowed to be part of a Life Group. I am so happy.” What a turn around! Bernard says he thinks 2 Life Groups will begin in the village and he has asked us to pray for Collins who invited them to Kabuyu; for confidence in God and the fact that God can speak through him.

Day of Prayer

November 18th, 2017 Posted by News No Comment yet
Pray with us right now!

Today is our day of prayer. Picking up on the themes from our year of prayer we have summed up “Where we are” and “Where we think God wants us to be”. We would love you to pray us into “Closing the gap” between those two things!

You can download and print these sheets or save them on your phone to help you pray throughout the day. There’s a bit of space for you to jot down and thoughts, images, verses or ideas God gives you as you pray for us. Please do share these with us.

We are expectant to hear from God!

Radical? Series Moniker

Radical. A life tending to produce extreme or fundamental changes in political, economic or social conditions within institutions, habits of mind or society.”

Inspired by actions during the Arab Spring of an unknown individual who individually faced down scores of riot police inspiring hope and freedom, Radical? is a series that examines what it means to have faith, trust, conviction in God and how this results in change for our world.

Using ancient and current examples of genuine people who encounter different situations, we can learn lessons on how to walk with God radically in all areas of our life.

Do you have the faith, trust and courage to be a Radical?

This is the second session in the series, “Radical? Becoming Radical: A look at Cain, Abel and Enoch” and was recorded at South Church, Mkushi, Zambia in October 2017.

10 years in 2 minutes

We are celebrating our 10th birthday! We’ll be doing lots of things throughout the year, here’s a simple one to start…. We’ve compiled 10 years of Amazing Lives and Everyday Miracles into a 2 minute video. We hope it encourages and inspires you!

We want to spread the word about what God is doing through his people

Would you help up by sending this video to a friend and telling them why it’s worth 2 minutes of their time?

Look out for more stories

We’re going to be sharing more stories of Amazing Lives and Everyday Miracles from the last 10 years on social media in the coming weeks. If you don’t already do so, follow us on  or

Join us to bring about more Amazing Lives and Everyday Miracles

As we look ahead to the next 10 years we want to grow our team. We are looking for people who are passionate about bringing people into relationship with Jesus and want to volunteer their time and skills to that end. You could help from home, wherever in the world you are, or from our base in Manchester, UK or Mkushi, Zambia if you’re close by.

Thank you

The last 10 years are a testament to God’s faithfulness and the ongoing support we have received from a relatively small, but incredibly amazing group of people who have stood with us in faith. We appreciate you so much. Thank you!
