| Mibila clinic accepted into CHAZ! |
|
Mibila Village Clinic under the leadership of WOTA (World Outreach Team in Action - led by our friend Barry Ilunga) has now been officially accepted into membership of CHAZ (Churches Health Association of Zambia). Barry has been invited to attend the 39th Annual General Council of all members. CHAZ is an interdenominational non-governmental umbrella organisation of the 116 church health administered health institutions in Zambia. It is responsible for 30% of national and 50% of rural health care in Zambia.
During the council, WOTA will be presented before the other members, explaining why they are becoming members of CHAZ. Boaz will represent WOTA in Barry's absence, only one person attends. Understandably, Barry is excited (as are we!) about joining CHAZ and the fruit that will be borne over time, especially the better amount and quality of resources that will now be made available to the clinic in Mibila. I know this has been a dream for many of you and we thank God for this amazing answer to prayer!
Congratulations to Barry, George and the local team too who have contributed to this goal!
