Isn’t it strange how a phone call can encourage you. Earlier today whilst visting our Impact Team in Luapula, Jon received a call from a pastor who lives in Mwnilunga, North Western Province.
Amongst other things, this pastor had just spent 2 months in Angola, a country that neighbours Zambia. Oil rich and recovering from a civil war, Angola is an interesting country indeed. Jon has actually spent time there in 2007 and 2008. He’s always wanted to start something there.
Apparently, and for now we will call it a rumour, a Life Group! Has been started in the country. No real details are known and we are as yet to verify properly. However this is encouraging or 2 reasons. Firstly, This group has been planted without the direct oversight of Dignity, showing that our approach is gaining local acceptance. Secondly, this is the first group in The Republic of Angola.
