Going the extra mile

The work of Dignity in Zambia continues to grow. We are seeing more and more communities adopt the idea of Life Groups, seeking hope and life. Run by Christians these groups are open to all and benefit the whole community.

Bernard recently took part in a team building meeting with a group in Chimbombo (pictured above). With his help, Life Group leaders in the area are working together to start more groups in and around the area. They are working their way through Plant, a resource we’ve written that gives step by step guidance and teaching for Life Groups who want to multiply. Take a look at Plant for yourself.

Bernard then traveled with Kashiki to Mufumbwe in Northwestern Zambia. They had arranged to meet people in the area to share the idea of Life Groups with them for the first time (pictured below). We are excited to see what 2020 holds for our teams and communities in sub-Saharan Africa.

You could pray for:

  • God-given connections: That Dignity representatives will meet the right people in every community they enter.
  • God-given favour: That Life Groups will not be held in suspicion because they are new in an area.
  • God-given safety: That team members traveling to share the good news of Jesus through planting Life Groups will be protected.
