Heading south

This month Jon and Jude Witt have returned to Zambia where they will now be living for the rest of the year.

Jon hit the ground running with a trip straight down to Southern Zambia where we are pioneering our work. Bernard from the Central Impact Team travelled with him and they had the chance to catch up with the team members and groups meeting there.

Here’s their trip in pictorial form!

A quick battery change and we're off!
Julius and Ernest who we had arranged to meet in Kalomo.
Bernard sharing the vision of Dignity with Julius and Ernest.
We've been slowly encouraging this small team in Simamwe near Zimba to start reaching out to their communities.
This is home for three nights...
...but the view of the Maramba River at breakfast time is pretty amazing!
Meet Santos, Esther and Moses from Sesheke in Northern Namibia. One small step at a time we're working towards starting an Impact Team in the area.
Oops - a big pothole on the way home from Sesheke meant we had to stop for some repairs.

Can you imagine yourself working alongside these people?!

Are you a pioneer? Does the opportunity to start something new, working alongside some amazing people appeal to you? If so, you could be one of the people we are looking for. We are looking for both long and short term volunteers to plant our model of working in communities where we have new contacts. Contact Jo Kimball on +44 (0) 161 434 8841 or [email protected] to discuss long term opportunities. Find out more about our short term opportunities here and contact Jo to express an interest.
